Kitzbühel is one of the world’s most famous and most beautiful destinations and recreational centres.
Summer in Kitzbühel and its environs has a charm all of its own. Whatever your choice – long runs through the lush green countryside, a swim in the nearby lake Schwarzsee or a bike ride through the picturesque Old Town – Kitzbühel offers rare enchantment at all times and has become a centre for many international athletes.
Owing to the large enquiry and the association with the Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship Series 2009, a lot of changes have occurred in the Kitzbühel Age Group Race. The most significant changes are the new challenging cycling and running routes through an idyllic Alpine landscape. Furhtermore, an Olympic distance is also integrated with the sprint competition.
