Tune in this weekend for full live video coverage of the 2008 Ishigaki BG Triathlon World Cup. This marks the 29th time Japan will host a World Cup and 13th consecutive year in Ishigaki, making it the longest running world cup in ITU history. No country has hosted more world cups than Japan.
This event is shot live and on Sunday we will have full course video coverage, following the athletes every step of the way. The host broadcaster is Okinawa TV (OTV) and will have 10 cameras on the course to follow the action. Of these 10 we will have 1 helicopter camera, 1 boat camera and 2 motorcycles to follow the athletes along the out and back section. We will not have live commentary from this event but we will have live text and also live timing provided by the Japanese Triathlon Union.
Live coverage for the 2008 Ishigaki BG Triathlon World Cup will begin on Sunday April 13th at 12:00 local time, 1 hour before the women’s start.
